When you’re ready to take your practical driving test in the UK, here’s what you need to know to prepare and succeed.
Before Your Test
Documents Required
- Bring your UK driving licence and theory test pass certificate.
- Ensure your vehicle meets specified criteria.
Replacing Lost Documents
- Apply promptly for replacements if needed, especially for your driving licence.
During the Test
Test Components
- Eyesight Check: Read a number plate from a specified distance.
- Vehicle Safety Questions: Answer ‘show me, tell me’ questions about your vehicle.
